It was discussed during my interview that I am aiming to get a Senior position in the Design team since I left the same position in my previous company so they promised that there is a promising opportunity for me. It did not go that well after I realized the work routines for a crowd of graphic designers in the company. I was the only non-arabic speaking designer in the group of 10 and they use Arabic as their main language. I’m the only designer who has more than 5 years of experience in graphic design. They use PC. Most source of images are from Shutterstock. They use Photoshop as the basic design software… and they made me crop images from the white background (just one big time lol!). I felt like a newbie so much because …
I just woke up one day when I decided to take picture of myself wearing my everyday working clothes to work. And over the year I have collected not only tons of lookbook photos but also memories from 2012. The places where I took the photos and friends who are very patience taking multiple shots of myself posing until I am satisfied with the look. Thanks to my tripod, to Jemma, Namal, Aireen, Kabbie, and specially to my buddy Sandra Essa who took most of my gorgeous photos from the past 4 months. Photos below are mostly taken with the use of my HTC mobile phone and iPad 3 with 5 megapixels processed by Instagram. So here are my selected collections from 2012. All images used are owned by John Robert Ramos.

I spent my Sunday taking photos of a friend who’s behind “Postura Style” Ms. Rona Kathrina. “Postura Style is an online fashion boutique based in Dubai. They offer a unique, classic, feminine, edgy collection with quality and affordable prices that you will surely love.”- www.posturastyle.blogspot.com She is selling her stuff thru Facebook page where you can find her selections of women clothing for now. Her bright collection reflects a classy, chic and very feminine woman. Price ranging from AED 50 to 150. We ate Krispe Kreme from the beginning up to end of the day. LOVE! At first, I didn’t really have a concept for this fun shoot but as we go on finding the right corner of their apartment unit at Dubai Marina’s one of the tallest residential tower, all we’ve got are the heights, the summer wind and the sunlight. Not just proper lighting coming from the daylight but lights brighter than sunshine and I love it. Since I’m a fan of natural lighting photography it always works for me. Given that I am not a professional …

MEN’S FASHION: A Short Review Cargo, tapered, short shorts, slim leg and carrot cut are just few kinds of short pants for men. I myself is a big fan of shorts and seldom go out wearing trouser or jeans but of course it depends on occasion. If I can wear shorts at work I definitely will. Who doesn’t love short pants anyway, since it’s very comfortable, light and easy especially this summer. From casual to semi-formal, denim to pattern & prints, here are my compilation of shorts. Make sure to check out how they wear them and pair with sandals, trainers, lofers or even with formal shoes. (Images are taken from my fav blog sartorialist.com) Slim leg, folded 2 inches from the knee. Tapered shorts can be really masculine. But then again just like the V-Neck shirt, not everyone can wear it properly, the key is having a toned legs. Cargo pants with blazer are more than casual Very cool for summer Prints and patters are here and formal too
